Thanks to everyone who has looked at the site. Still looking at why the video on the front page dosnt play on a phone or tablet.. but the fonts etc have been changed and the order of things I think is a bit clearer.
Now I have to get my head around video and instructional sessions....
At least the snow has gone and the sun is out. Thank you for your patience, and the care in which you have "suggested" improvements.
Cheers for now NB
Sometimes making a new web site can be quite an unsettling experience.
Building a new website makes you question your whole perception of who you are, and your creative practice.
Editing things in and out, is it good enough? How do I judge?
In all, not the best idea while on furlough, and locked down. However....it can be the perfect time too. When else would I be able to reflect on who I am as a maker and who I want to connect to?
So after some thought, here it is.. Welcome to The Stonecarving Times.
One individuals reflection on the daily workshop experience whilst navigating the often exhausting career in stone and sculpture. Both teaching and making.
I hope some of you will find this useful, and if not, well....
cheers for now NB
